What about password security?

It is important to have a strong password and then to keep that password secure. You'll probably know not to use obvious things for your password - so avoid your date of birth, family names and so on. View your password as a 'passphrase', take 3-5 unconnected words and put them together, add some numbers, capitalisations and special characters to increase the complexity. Follow the additional tips we give next to the form for password updates. Memorise it. Don't write it down or give it to others. Do not reuse the same password for your email.

To enhance account security, we have updated our password rules. Please follow these guidelines when creating your password:

Password Requirements:

1. Length: Minimum of 16 characters, maximum of 72 characters.
2. Complexity: Must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.
3. Re-use: Last 10 passwords cannot be reused.
4. Expiration: Passwords must be changed every 60 days.
